Held During the 2026 Women In Fire Conference

This special edition of the 5 Alarm 5K Run to Remember is hosted during the 2026 Women In Fire Conference, bringing together a national community of fire service professionals to honor those battling occupational cancer, remember those we've lost, and celebrate survivors who continue to inspire.

The Women In Fire Conference is one of the most important gatherings in the fire service — and FCSN is proud to stand alongside that community in the fight against occupational cancer.

Every Step Matters

Running with purpose

The 5 ALARM 5k Run to Remember holds special significance as it serves as an opportunity to remember and honor firefighters battling cancer, pay tribute to those who have passed, and celebrate those still with us in the firefighting community.

At the 2023 IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial, almost 66% of the names added to the wall were members who died from occupational cancer. Nearly 80% of Line of Duty deaths among fire fighters are attributed to occupational cancer.

Proceeds directly support FCSN's mission to assist firefighters and EMS providers diagnosed with cancer. The FCSN provides crucial resources, badge-to-badge support, training, and guidance to those facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.
